Peer Coaching Groups

Peer Coaching for Nonprofit Leaders and Managers

Two Distinct Cohorts — Two Unique Opportunities to Grow.

  • For Mid-Level Managers: Help your team step confidently into leadership.
  • For Executive Directors: Build a trusted circle of peers who understand the weight of leading.

What Is Peer Coaching?

Leading in the nonprofit sector can be both deeply meaningful and uniquely challenging. Nonprofit leaders and managers are constantly navigating competing priorities—staff, boards, donors, and communities—while staying true to mission.

Strong leaders don’t do this work alone. They listen, reflect, ask powerful questions, and keep growing. That’s why Nonprofit Network created Peer Coaching Groups—a structured, confidential space where nonprofit professionals learn from one another while tackling the real issues that matter most right now.

Each group (6–8 participants) meets online for seven sessions. Guided by a trained facilitator, members bring real-time leadership challenges to the table. Through powerful questions and shared reflection, peers help one another spark new ideas, perspectives, and solutions.

For Supervisors & Employers:

Equip your managers to lead—so you don’t have to manage every decision.

When managers grow more resourceful, ask better questions, and build their decision-making confidence, it eases the burden of constant oversight. Peer Coaching gives your mid-level leaders:

  • Stronger problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Confidence to lead through complexity
  • Better listening and communication skills
  • A support network that reduces dependency on you for daily decisions

For Executive Directors:

Leadership can be lonely. Peer Coaching and changes that.

Being the ultimate decision-maker often means carrying the weight of tough choices without a true sounding board. A Peer Coaching Group offers Executive Directors:

  • A trusted circle of colleagues who understand nonprofit leadership
  • A safe, confidential space to think out loud
  • A network of peers who will remain lifelong thought partners
  • Real-time insights that sharpen leadership and sustain resilience
