Kimberley Bishop joined the Cross Cultural Conversations Facilitation Team in 2021. Kimberley serves as Associate State Director at AARP Michigan, managing outreach, education, and advocacy initiatives in Jackson County. Prior to joining AARP, she worked for the State of Michigan for over 20 years primarily in communications and outreach and Kim also serves as a Board Member for Nonprofit Network. Bishop is a lifelong Michigander and die-hard Spartan after earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs Management from MSU. She also earned a Master of Public Administration from WMU. Kimberley is passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, as it allows the opportunity to live the motto of AARP, “What We Do, We Do For All.” Kimberley and her husband have two adult children and one granddaughter.
