Alyssa serves Nonprofit Network as our Outreach Coordinator. Her goal is to act as a bridge for nonprofit members (current and prospective) and the resources Nonprofit Network can offer as a way to support the impassioned work you do every single day in your cherished communities. She is passionate about meeting people where they are.

Alyssa’s past professional experiences include working for a local community foundation and an international nonprofit (NGO). She has supported missions in varying stages of the nonprofit lifecycle through advocacy, fund development, programming, and nonprofit governance strategy. In her most recent role before coming to Nonprofit Network, she helped to build the structure of a new nonprofit organization, including applying for and securing its 501c3 status.

Off the clock, Alyssa loves to be outside in nature, tuning in to the local city council meetings, and enjoying a good meal. She lives in Lansing, Michigan with her partner and their beloved cat.

Alyssa is a proud first-generation college student, having earned a BA from the University of Northern Iowa. She holds a credential called Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) from Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. You can connect with Alyssa on LinkedIn or by email.
